Memberships

You don’t need to be a PRA member to participate in our events on the weekends. Membership is required, however, to use the PRA range at any time for any purpose outside of these organized events.

PRA offers three categories of regular membership, Working, Non-working and Junior (under 18 years of age) and we also offer an Associate Membership for active members in good standing of other NFAA or NAA clubs, including college clubs. Working members must contribute a minimum of 18 hours of work on the range, at tournaments, or other club duty. Working Membership dues are only $50 for a family, and $45 for an individual. Non-working members are assessed an additional $90 per year, and have no work obligations. Junior and Associate memberships are only $15 per year and do not have any work obligations either and associate memberships do not have any voting rights.

Memberships are for a calendar year and renewals are mailed in early January. The dues for Applications submitted between July 1st and November 30th are prorated as indicated on the form. Membership applications submitted in December are full price and are for the next year.

Membership benefits include the unrestricted, safe use of the range for practice during daylight hours, reduced shoot fees for all Sunday competitions, and eligibility for club annual awards. Members are kept up to date on club activities, upcoming events and activities in the world of archery. The newsletter also provides practical tips on shooting form.

Working Members - Ways to meet your work commitment

- Saturday Instructor

The Saturday morning classes only work if we have enough instructors. If you're willing to become certified and teach Saturday classes, this can count as your volunteer hours.

- Sunday Treasurer

Any working member that has not met their work commitment for this year should consider acting as a Sunday Treasurer. This is an easy way to meet the work hour requirement while sitting in the shade all morning.

- Maintain a Target

By taking on the maintenance of one target this will satisfy your WORK OBLIGATIONS for the year. What this entails is clearing the path to and from the target, removing overgrown weeds, rocks, etc. and also making sure the bales are good for shooting...if a problem arises with the bales then you let an officer of the club know and the problem should get taken care of. This work obligation can be done any time you have the time to do it...not necessarily on a scheduled work day. If you have any questions or are ready to sign up please feel free to contact Mike Burnham through info@rovingarchers.com.
