Absolutely no broadheads, crossbows,
sling shots, or firearms (including B B, pellet, or paint-ball
guns; or air rifles) are allowed on the range
Shooting of arrows into the air is absolutely forbidden
Shoot only at targets on bales or 3-D animal targets
when set up for tournaments
Shoot only within the marked shooting lanes
Arrows may not be shot from a position beyond the
farthest stake in any marked shooting lane
Absolutely no shooting across marked
shooting lanes
Do not draw the bow in any direction except toward the
target
When people (archers, walkers, horseback riders, etc.)
or animals appear between you and the target, do not draw the bow
until area is clear
When not shooting, stand behind the shooting line and
the archers
When retrieving arrows, all archers go forward together
When looking for lost arrows, always post someone in
front of the bales and/or lean a bow across the bales so the next
group will know you are there. Looking for lost arrows is limited
to five minutes during a scheduled shoot
Stay on marked trails. There are no short cuts through
the trees and/or bushes
Use caution when pulling arrows. Be sure to give the
person pulling arrows enough room to be able to pull arrows safely
During scheduled events, shooting groups must consist
of no fewer than three and no more than five archers
New members, shooting the range for the first time,
must be accompanied by an experienced Pasadena Roving Archers member
to ensure all safety precautions are understood
Children under age of 12 must be accompanied by an
adult
The City requires that members wear their membership
identification where it is visible
No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the range (City
of Pasadena law)
Killing of any animal (gophers, birds, snakes, etc.) is
