What: The Archery Fundamentals class is a sequential five-week program focused on developing archery shooting form and exploring different styles and equipment options. Because this is a sequential program, student archers will be asked to make a commitment to attend all five weekly meetings consecutively.
Equipment: All necessary equipment is provided for this class.
When: Saturday mornings, 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon.
Where: Participants meet in the practice area.
How to join: A waiting list is maintained and a new class starts when the list is full. Ask an instructor how to sign up for the Archery Fundamentals class.
Cost: Five-week class. $75.00, non-members; $50.00 PRA members.
After completing the Archery Fundamentals class may then choose to take other specialized classes in Traditional Archery, Compound Bow Archery and Olympic Recurve Bow Target Archery. We have an Advanced Competitive Coaching program for adults and a Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) team for archers ages 8–20.
