In addition to our regular public classes, Pasadena Roving Archers provides private sessions by appointment for groups of up to 20 people. Scouts, church groups, meetup groups, adventure clubs, birthday parties and corporate team-building exercises are among the types of group events can be arranged.
Group classes are scheduled a minimum of two months in advance and run from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays. Please inform us at the time of registration if any participants are under the age of 10. All equipment and instruction is provided.
Our use agreement with the city limits the times and days that we are able to conduct activities on the range; we cannot provide any group lessons, parties, or other archery activities on any other day but Saturday, and only from 12:30 to 2:00.
The group sessions do not include all of the necessary instruction and activities required for the archery merit badge, however we can provide a qualified instructor who is registered as a Merit Badge counselor with the BSA and can sign off on the requirements that we do cover. Please contact your local district office to find an Archery Merit Badge Counselor who can help your scouts complete the program.
To schedule a group session, contact PRA, with your preferred date and two alternative dates. Once we have verified our schedule for availability, we will need a deposit to reserve your session.
Our public Saturday morning classes are for individuals and families, not groups. Please do not bring a group of five or more people to our regular Saturday morning instruction program. We have a very limited number of volunteer staff and are unable to accommodate the additional load of groups in the morning.
