Annual Tournaments

The PRA hosts three invitational tournaments over the course of the year. These tournaments are organized by our dedicated army of PRA volunteers and if you’d like to log some hours toward a working membership, assisting with these events is an excellent way to make new friends while fulfilling your work obligation to the club!

The 21 or Bust Tournament is a marked distance, 28 target, novelty event unique to the PRA where competitors shoot at playing card style targets while trying get as close to 21 points while not going over or “busting”. Medals are awarded for top performances in all age groups and bow styles.

The Oak Tree 3D Tournament is a marked distance, 1 arrow per target 3D archery tournament. This competition attracts archers of all bow styles and skill levels. Medals are awarded for top performances in all age groups and bow styles.

The Traditional Rendezvous Tournament is an unmarked distance, 2 arrows per target, 3D archery tournament for archers using traditional archery tackle (recurve and longbows) without the use of sights, stabilizers, elevated arrow rests, etc. No compound bows allowed at this event usually held in October. Awards are presented for top performances in all age groups.
